Head count cutting
Head count cutting is not a solution for cost reduction. Though market is in abyss, and all the companies are facing recession, the first and straight solution could not be fired from the company. there is a slight communism in this topic. I would strongly say there are lot of ways to cut the cost. Reducing the cab facility, amount reduction in food card, own transport benefits cut, etc. On top of that, the redundant parties like boosing party, kite festival, annual end party, team outting party, are ridiculous at this time. This is not the time to enjoy. It's time for all to bleed and sacrifice. We all enjoyed together and now we need to struggle together. Top management can keep a brain-storming session to get various notions for cost cutting. At last the people are being targetted are highly paid already and since the market is down and companies are not performing well at this point of time, they are literally pushed in to the ostrasized well. They are highly qualified too. That could be a disadvantage for them to get the job when they sent out...
