Chandraayan-1

The area above earth is known as atmosphere. It is a very good transformer of signals (digital and analogical). Cell-phone communication technology is driven by this. Everybody knows E-mail, browsing internet pages are done with the usage of satellites. Satellite launching in India is not new. Appending to this fame Chandraayan-1 launched on 22-Oct-08 is an important milestone in Indian Space research. The strange way of launching the satellite travelling through 5 orbits. The objective I learnt, is to launch Indian made launch vehicle, preparation of 3D atlas, which includes both far and near of moon.
The temperature of the satellite had been increased above 50 degree celcius to it had occurred due to higher than normal temperatures in lunar orbit. Afterthen it was brought down to 10 degree celcius. Till Jan-09 the moon is in the sunlit side, so the temperature should be set to high. There are 11 payloads weighs 90kg including 6 non-Indian (U.S., Europe, Bulgarian). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandrayaan-1#Payloads The total project cost is Rs.386 Crores. Chandraayan-II is being expected in 2012. Driving Indian mission in the way of success. As anonymous told success should be a milestone and not the destination.
